A few years ago, I was asked as a physician to speak to a local grade school, which included all the children in grades Kindergarten through Sixth. I was given the task of answering medical questions that the children wrote out themselves. I only had five minutes to answer the questions once a month. There were so many wonderful and insightful questions asked that I decided to answer as many as I could in writing. It then occurred to me that other children all over the country probably asked the same questions asked by these children. When children go to the doctor, they are usually sick and their parents ask all of the questions. It can be very intimidating. I decided to take the questions and make them into this book. This book is designed to address the curious, inner child in all of us.
