What Makes Women Competitive?

For women, estrogen may fuel the drive to compete. When women were checked after they won a contest or match, their estrogen levels went up. And, those who were competitive tended to start off with higher estrogen levels to begin with. We often think of testosterone being the drive behind competition. It looks like for women.....this may not be the case! What does this mean for menopausal women? Studies are being conducted now that may help to answer this question.
